My First Sweater: Create this beautiful, classic cardigan under the tutelage of our master sweater-knitter, Tammy. She will demystify the process of making a garment that fits! Christmas Sampler Stocking: Create a beautiful stocking to treasure. Learn easy fair-isle knitting and basic sock structure. 3 sessions, Mon. eves. beginning Sept. 14, 6:30-8:30. $25 + materials.

Baby Surprise Jacket: The unique design of this classic pattern by Elizabeth Zimmerman makes for a special gift. A fun and quick project suitable for all with some knitting experience.. 3 sessions, Tues. eves., from 6-8, on 9/22, 9/29 & Oct. 6. $25 + materials.

#Swirling Bag to Crochet : This adorable bag with its patchwork-look base and concentric rings of swirling colors will be as much fun to use as it is to crochet. 3 sessions, Sat. afternoons, 12:30-2:30, 9/19, 9/26 & 10/3. $25 + materials.

My First Icelandic Sweater: Have you been wanting to try the ingenious Icelandic technique of knitting in the round with no seams to sew at the end? This technique, along with the colorful designs and patterns of Icelandic knitting make it a perennial favorite. Join us to knit a fun vest in this style. 4 sessions; Thurs. eves., beginning 10/1; 6:30-8:30. $35 + materials.

#Ballet Flats: Sweet, feminine knitted slippers with flowers worked in intarsia and finished with embroidery. These are stunning! . 3 sessions: Sat. afternoons from 12:30-2:30, 10/10, 10/17 & 10/24. $25 + materials.

Every Way Wrap: Can 145 knitters be wrong? That's the number of people who have posted this gorgeous shawl on Ravelry, the knitter's website, along with 94 others who have listed it as a ?work in progress? making it one of the top five Ravelry patterns. The pattern is found in the Fall Interweave Knits magazine. Perhaps you're not normally a jump-on-the-bandwagon kind of person, but we recommend putting those scruples aside for this one. #Lacy Wristlets: If you can double crochet, you can create these sweet wristlets to wear by themselves or over gloves. A fun small project for a gift or yourself! 2 sessions: Sat. afternoons from 12:30-2:30, 11/7 & 11/14. $15 + materials.

#Hobby Horse: Be forewarned: the cuteness factor on this project is dangerously high. If you make one, you might have to make a dozen. (But who wouldn't want to make a dozen???) So giddy-up and get down to this class. 4 sessions: Mon. eves. from 6-8, beginning 11/16. $35 + materials.

#Felted Oven Mitts: these fabulous yet functional mitts will be a most welcome gift, if you can bear to part with them. Easy fair-isle checks on the palm and thumb provide a double layer of insulation. So-o-o-o fun to knit and use! 3 sessions: Mon. eve. from 6:30-8:30, 11/3, 11/30 & 12/7. $25 + materials.
